Concept Artist, Illustrator

Fury is a live-action stage show concept developed by We Are Royale in Los Angeles, a full-scale spectacle where the classic heroes of the 80s return, older but still armed with grit, humor, and heavy firepower. The show blends practical effects, rock-fueled music, and explosive action into a nostalgic experience that celebrates the golden era of over-the-top heroism.

As the concept artist and illustrator, I was responsible for designing the main characters Bill and Lance, inspired by the legendary game Contra, as well as developing key art and the official promotional poster. I also created additional characters and environments that captured the mix of adrenaline, satire, and cinematic bravado central to the show’s tone.

The artwork draws directly from 80s movie posters, exaggerated anatomy, neon explosions, and unapologetic hero poses, honoring the aesthetic of a time when muscles, synths, and one-liners ruled pop culture.

Fury is more than nostalgia, it’s a love letter to the absurd brilliance of 80s action, where every shot, scream, and riff was pure chaos, perfectly staged.
